Organizing...

Here's a character I came up with while having a nice cup of coffee. I know I haven't posted any creative material lately, but I felt like I needed to step back and learn more fundamentals through figure drawing. Now, I think it's time to start posting again. I'm going to organize my sketches from now on and try to keep some order. This will be my random sketch page. I just posted on my figure drawing page. I'll work on the character design and background design blogs soon enough. The links will be found under My Other Blogs.

Just Returned from Figure Drawing

I just got back from draped figure drawing over at the Animation Guild. Here's a sample of what I did tonight.

Hamlet

I apologize for not posting anything since June. Here's a drawing I did in the summer session at The Animation Academy in the narrative illustration class.

Alien

Here's an alien design I've been working on. It was one of the first times I used Photoshop only to rework a drawing. I'll take another pass at it with pencil. I added a head design because I couldn't stand looking at the rough.
